MBA-lite Certification is awarded only upon completion of the CMP and CbMP certifications (both must be active and in good standing at the time of MBA-lite certification application), the receipt of a favorable professional/academic recommendation letter, and the payment of the registration fee. If the recommendation letter is not favorable (decision of our certification committee is final and binding), we will refuse to confer the MBA-lite certification upon you, and we will refund the registration fee less a $45 processing charge.

Prerequisite for MBA-lite: You must have, at a minimum, a 3-4-year Bachelor's (Baccalaureate) degree before you can register for the MBA-lite. If you do not have an accredited Bachelor's (Baccalaureate) degree, please do not register for the MBA-lite certification. After registration, please be sure to submit proof of education to us (e.g. a scanned copy of your diploma/degree/transcript/certificate). If we are not satisfied with your proof submitted (or if you do not submit the proof to us in a timely manner), we will cancel your registration and issue a refund (less a $45 processing charge).

Full-Color Plaque: Note that upon successful completion of the requirements for the MBA-lite credential, you will receive not only a framed certificate and letter to that effect but you will also receive a full-color plaque which you can proudly display in your office or workplace.

Recertification: In order to annually recertify/maintain your MBA-lite Certification, you need to complete the requirements for both the CMP and CbMP underlying certifications (see the respective pages). Note that there is no extra charge for this. Your annual membership dues cover all your recertifications. Failure to do so will result in you forfeiting one or more underlying credentials (CMP/CbMP) and thereby forfeiting the MBA-lite credential as well.
